This story was inspired by being at home with the youngest of my three and following him through his adventures every day. His joy in all things simple inspires me to stop and be in the moment with him.
The background water color paintings come from my children’s younger school years’ and were used to bring to life the colors of life through children’s eyes & hands & hearts.
The illustrations were inspired by the live characters in my family. Burt Griswold is not only a great illustrator but he is also my favorite uncle. He helped me keep the book living and growing through our family’s joint efforts.
